Welcome to i-caria Rent a Car. By accessing or using our car rental services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). Please review these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our services.

Eligibility

Age Requirements

• Renters must be at least 25 years old, for categories A and B.

License Requirements

• Renters must possess a valid driver’s license, which has been held for at least one year prior to the rental period.
• An international driving permit (IDP) may be required if the driver’s license is not in English.

Rental Period

Duration

• The rental period begins when you take possession of the vehicle and ends when the vehicle is returned to our designated return location.

Extensions

• Any extension of the rental period must be agreed upon in advance. Additional charges may apply.

Vehicle Use

Authorized Drivers

• Only the renter and any additional drivers listed in the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle.

Prohibited Uses

• The vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, off-road driving, racing, towing, or any other activity that could cause damage or excessive wear.

Insurance and Liability

Insurance Coverage

• Our vehicles come with basic insurance coverage, including third-party liability. Additional insurance options are available for purchase.

Damage and Theft

• Renters are responsible for any damage to or theft of the vehicle during the rental period. Insurance excess charges may apply.

Personal Belongings

• We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.

Fees and Charges

Rental Rates

• Rental rates are based on the selected vehicle, rental period, and any additional services or options.

Deposits

• A security deposit is required at the time of rental. This deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle in the same condition it was rented, subject to any applicable charges.

Additional Charges

• Additional charges may include, but are not limited to, fuel costs, cleaning fees, late return fees, and charges for additional drivers.

Booking and Cancellation

Booking

• Bookings can be made online, via phone, or in-person at our rental locations.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental period are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Vehicle Condition and Maintenance

Inspection

• Vehicles are inspected before and after each rental. Renters are required to inspect the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage before leaving the rental location.

Maintenance

• Renters are responsible for routine maintenance, such as refueling and tire pressure checks, during the rental period.

Termination

Early Termination

• We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle if these Terms are violated or if the vehicle is used in a manner that endangers the renter or others.

Return of the Vehicle

• Vehicles must be returned to the agreed-upon location by the end of the rental period. Late returns may incur additional fees.

Privacy

• We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

Use of Information

• Personal data is used for the purpose of providing rental services, processing payments, and communicating with renters.

Disputes and Governing Law
